Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC) is honored to receive the Large Business of the Year award from the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes the impact LSCC has had on the community in 2022.
There were several factors that led the Georgetown Chamber to select LSCC for this significant honor:
- Lone Star has a partnership with Georgetown ISD to provide school-linked healthcare to students and their families.
- LSCC’s Big Pink Bus mobile mammography unit provides free and low-cost mammograms to help detect breast cancer in its early stages when its treatable. The Big Pink Bus is stationed in Georgetown and serves women throughout Central Texas.
- LSCC has invested in building a new administrative headquarters in Georgetown.
- LSCC providers and staff provide exceptional and accessible healthcare to the Georgetown community and beyond.
CEO Jon Calvin and other LSCC employees attended the Georgetown Chamber’s gala last week to accept the award on behalf of all the hard-working staff we have throughout our clinics and administration.
Lone Star Circle of Care has quite a long history in Georgetown. We opened our first clinic here and began seeing patients in 2002. We have been headquartered in Georgetown throughout our entire 20 years of service. We are so proud that our dedication to this community is evident, and that we are doing our part to increase access to exceptional health care to everyone, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.
