School Starts Soon – Are Your Child’s Vaccines Up To Date?

Immunizations are important at every age from childhood through adulthood.  August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM).  Just in time – as a reminder of how important immunizations are for your children. Did you know every year, your child’s school nurse or daycare provider goes through all the immunization records of registered children and confirms they are up-to-date?  If not, you can expect to receive a letter in the mail with notification they are needed. Vaccination is one of the best ways parents can protect their children from potentially harmful diseases.  To print an immunization schedule for infants and children visit the CDC , there is a schedule for teens too.
