Welcome to our new home on the web!

Today, we’re excited to share our completely redesigned and rebuilt website with our patients and community. We have spent more than a year partnering with Austin-based Monkee-Boy Web Design to deliver a modern, secure, and accessible website—one that puts key information about our providers, locations, and services at your fingertips. The new site comes with a new name and destination: LoneStarCares.org. Not only is this new web address easier to remember, it precisely reflects our Mission: to strengthen our communities and care for our Texas neighbors.

When we started this project we had three goals:

  1. Our new site had to work well on every device, including mobile devices. Whether you’re using a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone, we want our site to be easy to use and familiar. Many of our patients have told us their smartphones are their main computers and their only way of accessing the internet. Our new site is optimized for your needs!
  2. Our patients need timely information about our services, locations, and providers. We’ve updated our list of providers and locations, and we’re committed to keeping that information as fresh as possible. We’ve added new features to these pages, too, such as the ability to search for a provider by location, language, or specialty. Finding a doctor near you has never been easier.
  3. We wanted to make it easier for our patients to communicate with us and receive the care they need. Our call center and Patient Portal are now only a click away and links are conveniently located at the very top of our site. If you need to pay your bill or communicate with your care team, you can now do it online or over the phone. Review our Patient Portal FAQ to learn more.

We think you’ll find that we accomplished each of these goals. The new website includes lots of new capabilities and enhancements. Please read on to learn about our site’s new features.

This project has been a labor of love for all of us, and we are happy to finally share it with you. We want to thank our local partners in this endeavor:

We also want to thank our community partners and donors, our Board of Directors, and our staff members and providers, whose support is crucial for this project and all that we do. We hope that you, our patients and community, enjoy these improvements and we look forward to seeing you in our clinics.
