Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC) is pleased to announce the launch of its first-ever specialty care service line, endocrinology, now available at Texas A&M Health Science Center – Specialty Care in Round Rock. This milestone marks LSCC’s commitment to expanding beyond primary care and improving access to high-quality specialty services for our Central Texas neighbors.
Led by Avinash Ravipati, M.D., a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, endocrinology services are accessible to patients 18 and older at Texas A&M Health Science Center – Specialty Care. Dr. Ravipati brings extensive experience in treating and managing complex hormone-related conditions and joins LSCC from Beebe Healthcare in Delaware, where he provided expert care for patients with endocrine disorders.
“Access to endocrinology care has long been a challenge for many in our communities,” said Dr. Kathleen Butler, Chief Medical Officer at LSCC. “By introducing this specialty service, we’re closing care gaps and ensuring Central Texas patients have access to comprehensive care for complex conditions like diabetes.”
Endocrinology services at Lone Star Circle of Care include advanced diagnostics, medication management, and personalized treatment plans for a wide range of conditions, including:
- Diabetes Management (Type 1, Type 2, gestational diabetes, insulin pump therapy, CGM)
- Thyroid Disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Hashimoto’s, Graves’ disease, thyroid cancer follow-up)
- Adrenal & Pituitary Disorders (Addison’s disease, Cushing’s syndrome, pituitary tumors)
